Set amongst exposed brick and candlelight, Geist im Glas is the perfect spot to spend a couple of hours - or more - indulging in a unique selection of cocktails and drinks. With lively and friendly staff, it’s perfect for an intimate catch-up, a late-night tipple – and everything in between.

Our History
Geist im Glas began in 2012. It was the pioneer cocktail bar to open on the street and perhaps the third to open in the neighbourhood of Neukölln. It marked an eclectic time in the life of Berlin where the vibes were freeing and the people were keen to try new things.
Geist became a hub for artists and DJs, writers and tech bros. An accepting space, run by women. These early years established Geist in people's minds and it is now seen as an institution, earning its place on multiple ‘best of’ lists.
As for the brunch, Aishah, being English, was missing the bacon and eggs-style hot breakfast but with the limitations of the kitchen space, there was no way to produce that. She opted for a griddle-based service and came up with an American-inspired menu that would leave the customer full for the day. The ultimate hangover cure. And thus, the boozy brunch in Berlin was born!
